About Edmund
Emerging violist, Edmund Mantelli, harnesses creativity and excitement in his debut professional performances on the national stage.
A passion grown from an early age, Edmund has experimented with an array of creative practices and found music to be an inseparable and edifying partner in life. Edmund thrives working as a performer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and educator.
Before completing his Bachelor of Music in Performance on viola with Michele Walsh and Imants Larsens, Edmund studied violin with Michele Walsh, Matthew Tomkins and William Hennessy AM.
Edmund
has performed side-by-side with the Australian String Quartet, Ensemble Q,
Ludovico Band and is now living his childhood ballerino dream, having the
opportunity to perform in Orchestra Victoria with Opera Australia and the
Australian Ballet.
The Richard Bonynge Fellowship program is fully funded by our generous benefactors Lady Potter AC CMRI with Margaret Ross AM & Dr Ian Ross
