Nathan Fernandez

Nathan is a Canberra born, Naarm based creative who moved to study a Diploma of Musical Theatre, and an Advanced Diploma of Dance at APO Arts Academy/DanceWorld, completing their studies in 2015.

Their most recent performance credits include Luigi/Tony in Lucky Stiff (Be You Productions,2023 and Bold Offer Productions, 2024), Mr Sheinkopf in Fame (Soundworks, 2024), a swing for Lockstock, Caldwell and Ensemble in "Urinetown" (Soundworks, 2022), Kevin in In The Heights (OCPAC, 2022) and Stanford/Ensemble in Bright Star (Pursued By Bear, 2019.) Other previous credits include Mark in Altar Boyz (PEP Productions 2019), Bobby in A Chorus Line (CLOC 2017), and an Ensemble member in Rent (James Terry Presents 2018.)

Nathan’s directing credits were most recently Death Pretzel with Scary Goats Theatre (2023), directing for “Play In A Day” for Antipodes Theatre Company’s Festival of the Unseen (2023) and Scary Goats Tour at The Butterfly Club for MICF (2021.)

Nathan is incredibly passionate about telling stories, supporting new and innovative ways of presenting theatre and delivering stories with honesty and integrity.
